Ten Kids, No Pets by Ann M. Martin
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
This
is a pretty standard middle grades book. The interesting part is that
there are 10 kids in the family and each kid gets a chapter in the
book. The plot isn't much of a surprise, though, and there isn't any
deeper meaning, other than kids adjusting to a new home. But this kind
of normal, everyday life appeals to a lot of kids of this age. My own
children would have liked a book like this. I found it a tad ho hum. I
skimmed over many of the later chapters.
